Our facilities are staffed and available 24x7, 365 days a year. We provide environmentally controlled floor space at both our Tallahassee and Atlanta locations, including Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) approved raised floor space.
Colocation support and monitoring, off-site colocation, standard physical server, and custom physical server options are available.
NWRDC’s Innovation Park building is a purpose-built data center, constructed of brick, concrete block, steel, and a triple roof. Situated 88 feet above sea level and protected by a lightning suppression system, NWRDC’s physical facility is designed to withstand up to a Category 4 hurricane.
NWRDC-Southwood is a Tier III certified data center facility. With 32,000 square feet, this stand-alone data center is equipped with critical design considerations, including a hurricane-rating of up to 200 MPH winds, power, communications, chilled water redundancy, and extensive security procedures.
To ensure reliability, air temperature and humidity levels are continuously monitored and controlled. We utilize redundant cooling systems (N+1). To protect equipment and data, NWRDC is equipped with two 1000kW generators and one 500 kW generator that can run at full capacity for weeks with emergency refueling as needed. Multiple redundant UPS systems (N+1) condition electrical power to the raised floor area, in addition to smoke detection and fire suppression systems.
NWRDC employs an advanced security system with 24x7 monitoring. Exteriors, doorways, and hallways are under continuous recorded video surveillance. Multiple security points are in place throughout the facility.
