Custom Oracle Cloud Trainings

NWRDC Partner Mythics is pleased to share the following Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) trainings. View all of these free trainings at: https://info.mythics.com/nwrdc-resources

Oracle Cloud Technical QuickStart

Learn the fundamentals of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including cloud concepts, OCI structures, and core OCI services. OCI service areas discussed include Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, compute, storage and database.

Business Operations QuickStart

Explore the fundamentals of operating workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and how to start your account off correctly with best practices.  Learn about the OCI tools used to keep track of cloud resources and consumption costs.

Networking QuickStart

An introduction to core OCI networking services, how to deploy them, and best practice considerations for when and why to use these services. Learn how to connect to OCI from on-premises and then focus on various network design concepts.

Security QuickStart

This session is not intended to be a technical deep dive of any one subject and instead will show how security is built into each component of your cloud environment, focusing on the different tools you have at your disposal to improve your security posture.

Cloud Operations QuickStart

Learn the fundamentals of operations in Oracle Cloud and explore some of the tools available. Includes an automation overview followed by an introduction to Resource Manager, Monitoring, Notifications, Observability & Management (O&M), and Audit.

Multi-Tenancy Governance & Administration

Explore the fundamentals of governance and administration of multi-tenant environments.  Review the basics of compartments with admin policies/regions, and dive into the details of parent and child tenancy setup and how it will help you manage costs, budgets, and governance rules.

Database QuickStart

This session provides an overview of the different database services and tools available in Oracle Cloud and their key features. Review database use cases and get an understanding of how to determine which service is right for you.

Introduction to Application Development in OCI

This session will focus on the tools available to you for developing applications in the cloud.  Gain a base understanding of the different Oracle application development platforms and cloud native tools.  Learn development options for both developers and non-developers, as well as ways to automate securing, building, testing, and deploying your applications.

OKE & Streaming Overview

This course provides an overview of OKE, and its integration with Oracle Streaming for event-driven architectures. Learn to deploy, manage, and leverage OKE clusters and Oracle Streaming for building scalable and resilient containerized applications.

HA & DR Overview

Learn the key concepts, techniques, and best practices for designing a highly available, disaster recovery solution in OCI. Explore the HA features such as availability domains, fault domains, load balancer and how to use these features to build a highly available solution. Learn about disaster recovery features like Oracle Data Guard, backup and restore, cloning, replicas, cross-region backups and integration with other platforms.

Augmented Analytics

Gain an overview of the different levels of data evolution and address topics such as data storage, consolidation, manipulation, analysis, and AI/ML.  Learn about the Oracle products that go hand-in-hand like Essbase, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Big Data Service and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

Introduction to Database Migration on OCI

Learn the different methods for migrating databases to OCI. Explore the specific use cases and constraints associated with each method, while addressing the migration considerations tailored to your team. Gain insights into the recommended practices for a successful migration.

OCI Zero Downtime Migration/ZDM

Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) is a simple, automated solution for moving Oracle Databases into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). ZDM is the Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA)-recommended solution to migrate Oracle Databases to the Oracle Cloud.  ZDM's inherent design keeps in mind the migration process as straightforward as possible to ensure the most negligible impact on production workloads.
