COVID-19 Coronavirus Response

NWRDC is taking steps to reduce the potential impact of the Coronavirus if or when the virus emerges in the Tallahassee area. Our priorities are providing a safe workplace and remaining fully operational in support of our customers. 

We have implemented several proactive and protective actions such as contingency plans for reduced staff scenarios, including an aggressive cross-training schedule to make certain we have ample coverage for the critical functions of the data center, including our 24 x 7 Operations Support.  In addition, we have prioritized our Smarthands assistance in order to reduce the need for customers to travel to the data center.

Many of our customers are implementing telecommuting and remote work policies. Working remotely is a not an uncommon practice for our technical staff. If the situation warrants, our staff is well-trained and prepared to work from any location.  

As circumstances continue to change, our goal is, and will continue to be, to provide the same level of support our customers have experienced and come to expect from NWRDC.  We will continue to update you on our preparation and response to the situation as events warrant.
