Customers must establish a billing account with the NWRDC before attempting to
transact any business through this facility. The NWRDC account, which identifies
the customer's billing center and address, is required so that charges accrued
through the customer's use of data center facilities may be correctly billed to
that customer.
To run jobs at the NWRDC, customers must also have a Logon ID (LID). The LID,
which is identified on each submitted job's JOB card, is used by the ACF2
security system to determine the customer's data access authority. The LID is
also used as a "key" to the customer account ID number to which job execution
costs are charged.
To obtain an Account ID or a Logon ID, the appropriate form must be completed,
signed by the appropriate authorities at your institution, and submitted to
NWRDC for processing.
